A Universidade de Vigo está organizando un evento de geocaching dirixido a todos os estudantes ERASMUS+ de toda Europa na Universidade de Vigo, así como á totalidade da comunidade de estudantes da Universidade de Vigo. Buscaranse geocaches ou «tesouros agochados» no campus de Vigo. As coordinadas de GPS usaranse para atopar geocaches en sitios sorprendentes. Podes participar neste evento individualmente, en parellas, en grupos de tres ou ata dez persoas no mesmo grupo.

Que é o geocaching?
O geocaching é unha actividade que consiste en buscar e atopar «tesouros», obxectos diferenciados de diferente valor, que están agochados en calquera lugar do mundo a través do sistema de posicionamento global.
As persoas participantes, chamadas cachers, comezarán cunhas coordenadas de GPS que lles proporcionarán previamente e tratarán de atopar os tesouros agochados fóra.
O único requisito para participar é rexistrarse na web oficial da actividade de geocaching e ter un dispositivo GPS (tamén serve un móbil con GPS) para poder orientarte na busca.

Buscaranse geocaches ou «tesouros agochados» no campus de Vigo. As coordinadas de GPS usaranse para atopar geocaches en sitios sorprendentes.
Como se desenvolverá a actividade?
• Agocharanse 6 tesouros (geocaches) no Campus e revelaranse as coordenadas GPS exactas o día do evento.
• Podes participar neste evento individualmente, en parellas, en grupos de tres ou ata dez persoas no mesmo grupo.
• Non é obrigatorio visitar os puntos en orde numérica.
Persoas participantes
Queremos que este evento estea dirixido principalmente ao corpo de estudantes ERASMUS+ xa que é unha maneira divertida de explorar sitios que non coñezan do campus. Sen embargo, poden participar todos os estudantes. A nosa intención é que haia representación do maior número de países posible nesta actividade. Para facer este evento aínda máis internacional, gustaríanos que trouxeras algo que represente o teu país (camiseta, sombreiro, bandeira, camiseta dun equipo...).

The University of Vigo will promote a Geocaching event, aimed at all ERASMUS+ students of the University of Vigo from all over Europe, and to the whole community of students of the University of Vigo. They will search for "Hidden Treasures" geocaches in the Campus of Vigo. The GPS coordinates will help to find the geocaches in surprising places. In this event, you can participate individually, in pairs or in groups of three, up to 10 people in the same group.

WHAT IS GEOCACHING?
Geocaching may be defined as the activity of looking for and finding “treasures”, distinct objects of varying value, hidden in any place on the planet by using a global positioning system.
Participants of the activity, called cachers, may set off with previously obtained GPS coordinates and try to find the treasures hidden in the outdoors.
The only requirement to participate in this activity is to be registered in the official website of the geocaching activity and have a GPS device, a GPS-enabled mobile phone is also valid, so that you can navigate to the cache.
WHERE WILL THE EVENT AREA?
They will search for "Hidden Treasures" geocaches in the Campus of Vigo. The GPS coordinates will help to find the geocaches in surprising places.
HOW THE ACTIVITY WILL BE DEVELOPED?
• We will hide 6 treasures (geocaches) around the Campus, and give you the exact GPS coordinates, on the event day.
• In this event, you can participate individually, in pairs or in groups of three, up to 10 people in the same group.
• It’s not mandatory to visit the points by numerical order.
Participants
We want this event to be visible, above all, among ERASMUS+ University Students because it is a very fun way to explore places that are still not visible the Campus. However, all students can participate. Our intention is that as many countries as possible are represented in this activity. To make this event even more international, we would like you to bring something representative of your country (shirt, hat, bandeira, flag, team jersey, etc.).
