The Wellbeing, Health and Sports department provides a mountain bike rental service in the inside of the University Pavilion of Campus Lagoas-Marcosende.
1. General rules of use
- You can enjoy this service with a mUVer membership, a Ponte en Forma membership or with multi-sports entries.
- Bikes can be rented for periods of 3 hours maximum.
- The use is limited to routes and areas close to Campus Lagoas - Marcosende.
- Bikes are not allowed in the footing track.
- Bikes must be used properly, they must be returned in the same operating services in which they were rented.
- Once the rental period is over, the user must clean the bike with a hose before return. The hose can be found at the entrance of the pavilion.
Campus Lagoas-Marcosende counts with a natural grass field for rugby and football 11 practice.

To reserve the field you must identify yourself in this website and issue a «group reservation request» stating all the information of your reservation. To each reservation, the rate applied will be the one corresponding to the person with the least amount of vantages among the participants.
- The person responsible of the reservation will have to identify themselves at the university pavilion concierge before the activity starts. For free reservations for the university community, everyone who participates in the activity must identify themselves.
- The minimum number of members of the university community necessary to request a free reservation of this facility is 14 people (midfield) or 22 people (full field). If this requirement is not achieved, the general rate for non-university people will be applied.
- Practice must be carried out with rubber or metal cleats.
- In case there is an audience, they are not allowed in the athletics track or in the external circuit for races.
Campus Lagoas-Marcosende counts with a synthetic grass field to practice football 11 and football 7/8.
- To access these facilities you will need group reservations. You can make both midfield and full field reservations.
- To reserve the field you must identify yourself in this website and issue a «group reservation request». In case you want to reservate multiple time slots, multiple days or more than 7 days in advance, you will have to issue a «multi-reservation request» stating all the information of your reservation and wait for the administration confirmation.
- To each reservation, the rate applied will be the one corresponding to the person with the least amount of vantages among the participants.
- In case one of the sides or both sides of the field are free, they will be available for free at that exact moment for any member of the university community (weekends are not included) even if they do not meet the reequirement of minimum number of people needed established in the previous point.
- Eating and smoking is not allowed in the entirety of the sports center.
SOOM CDU Vigo is a sports facility located in Campus Lagoas - Marcosende. It is managed by the company Soom Management S.L. and it counts with a 20 m long swimming pool, a room for directed activities, a spinning room, a cardio-fitness room, a squash court, sauna and jacuzzi.

Inside of the Sports Technical Building, in Campus Lagoas-Marcosende, there are two multipurpose rooms, a room for courses and a sports medicine and physiotherapy room (registration number C-36-0015554).
- For the sports medicine and physiotherapy room and for directed activities, you can access with occasional sessions or vouchers.
- The multipurpose rooms can also be reserved by groups for the development of activities non-organized by the Wellbeing, Health and Sports Department. To request the reservation of these areas, you must identify yourself in this website and issue a «multi-reservation request» specifying all the information of your reservation.
- For payment of each reservation, the fee applied will be the one corresponding to the person with the least amount of advantages out of all the participants.

The Campus of Vigo has an area of table tennis at the top of the bleachers in the university pavilion. There is a total number of 5 tables to practice this sports discipline.
- You can access this facility with a reservation of a table. The maximum number of people per table is 4 people.
- To reserve this area you must identify yourself in this website and issue a «new simple reservation». If you want to make a reservation for more than one time slot, more than a day or more than 7 days in advance, you must issue a «multi-reservation request», specifying all the information of your reservation. Afterwards, you must wait for the conformation of the administration.
- For payment, the rate applied will be the one corresponding to the person with the least amount of advantages amongst the participants.

For free reservations, with mUVer membership, it will be necessary that all the participants identify themselves, depending on the reservation time: single reservation (two ID cards) or double reservation (four ID cards).
- There is not an specific dress code to play table tennis.

In Campus Lagoas - Marcosende, the University of Vigo counts with a natural space perfect to practice sports in nature, such as orienteering races, running or trail.
- The natural areas of the campus are public and open to sport use for everyone. The changing rooms of the sports facilities are free for the university communities, but those who are not members must own a basic membership to be allowed to use them.
- To develop organized sport activities and have free access to the changing rooms in the sports facilities, it will be necessary to request a reservation through this website (long in / new multi-reservation) and wait for the authorization of the Wellbeing, Health and Sports Department.
2. Orienteering map
The University counts with a certified orienteering map that covers the entirety of the Campus Lagoas - Marcosende and the Beade and Bembrive forest parks.
3. Running circuit
The soil running circuit in Campus Lagoas - Marcosende is 1040 m long and runs through the edge of the athletics stadium and the synthetic grass field.
Campus Lagoas-Marcosende counts with an indoor sports track fully equipped for the development of different sports activities such as indoor football, basketball, handball, volleyball or badminton, amongst others.
- The access to these facilities will be granted through group reservations (full track or lateral track).
- To be able to make a reservation you must identify yourself in this website and issue a «new simple reservation». If you want to reserve multiple time slots, more than one day or more than 7 days in advance, you must issue a «multi-reservation request» specifying all the information of your reservation and wait for the confirmation of the administration.
- For payment, the rate applied will be the one corresponding to the person with the least amount of advantages between the participants.
- Regular hours: from Monday to Friday, 9.00 h to 20.00 h. Special hours: Monday to Friday, between 20.00 h and 23.00 h; and Saturdays and Sundays at all opening hours.
- The person responsible of the reservation must identify themselves at the concierge in the university pavilion before the activity starts. In case of free reservations for university community, all the participants must identify themselves.
- There must be at least 10 university community members for the full track or 6 members for half track to be able to make a free reservation. If these numbers are not achieved, the general rate for non university people will be applied.
- In case the track or some of its parts are not occupied, it will be possible to request it in that exact moment for free for anyone who is member of the university community (weekends are not included) even without the minimum number of participants established in the previous point.

O Campus de Vigo conta cunha pista de atletismo onde se poderán practicar as actividades atléticas de carreiras, saltos e lanzamentos.
1.- Normas de uso xerais:
- Poderase acceder individualmente a esta instalación mediante entradas multi-deporte ou abonos.
- Tamén será posible facer a reserva completa da instalación para realizar un uso non compartido con outras persoas usuarias. Para isto deberá identificarse nesta web e facer unha «nova reserva simple». No caso de reservas de máis dunha franxa horaria, de máis dun día ou con máis de 7 días de antelación, deberá achegar unha «solicitude de reserva múltiple» indicando todos os datos da reserva e agardar a confirmación da Área de Benestar, Saúde e Deporte.
- O número mínimo necesario de persoas pertencentes á comunidade universitaria para poder realizar unha reserva gratuíta desta instalación será de 20.
- As persoas deberán identificarse na conserxería do pavillón universitario antes de acceder á pista de atletismo.
- Non está permitido fumar nin comer en todo o recinto deportivo.
1.1 Carreiras:
- Realizaranse sempre con zapatillas de cravos dun máximo de 6 mm de lonxitude, agás no caso das rúas exteriores 5 e 6, nas que poderán usarse zapatillas sen cravos.
- As rúas 1 e 2 quedan reservadas exclusivamente para competicións, polo que queda prohibida a súa utilización en adestramentos, salvo autorización expresa do SD.
- As series de menos de 150 metros realizaranse sempre na contrarrecta.
1.2 Saltos:
- Poderanse practicar con ou sen zapatillas de cravos.
- Os saltos de lonxitude e triplo realizaranse nos corredores e nos fosos de area.
- O salto de altura realizarase na media lúa na que se encontren instalados os saltómetros.
- O salto con pértega soamente poderá practicarse cando non exista actividade no campo de fútbol/rugby e será necesario acreditar a suficiente experiencia nesta actividade.
- Para a realización de multisaltos de adestramento poderanse utilizar ambas medias lúas ou os corredores de saltos.
1.3 Lanzamentos:
- Deberá consultarse previamente a dispoñibilidade do campo de herba natural como superficie de recepción dos artefactos.
- Ademais de nos círculos propios das disciplinas, os lanzamentos de peso e disco poderanse realizar en ambas medias lúas, sempre que a caída dos artefactos se produza na herba.
- O lanzamento de xavelina poderá realizarse dende as dúas medias lúas, con ou sen zapatillas de cravos.
- O lanzamento de martelo só se poderá realizar na gaiola cando esta teña a rede levantada. No caso de empregar artefactos alternativos (balóns atados con cordas), si poderán ser utilizados fóra da gaiola.

Inside the university pavilion in the Campus of Vigo there is a cardio-fitness room fully equipped for the development of different fitness activities.
Rules of use
- You can access the facility with occasional entries, memberships or signed agreements with the university for subsidised use.
- You must be at least 16 years old to access this facility.
- The maximum capacity of the facility is 35 people. Whenever the room reaches full capacity, access will be denied to new users until there are places available.
- It is not allowed to access with street footwear, slippers, sandals, non-sports clothing, bags or backpacks.
- The use of a towel inside the room is mandatory for hygiene purposes.
- Continued use of cardiovascular equipment (stepper, elliptical bike, indoor rower, treadmills...) must last a maximum of 30 minutes.
- All users must return the material they used for their training to its original place. In any case, the alteration of the conditions of use of the equipment (music equipment, bikes, mats, benches...) must be authorized by those in charge of the room.
- For security purposes, it is not allowed to overburden the machines with any additional weight.
- There will be general training routines available for any interested user and, if you need something more specific, do not hesitate to talk to the people in charge.
