3.- Meeting point: This activity doesn’t include transportation. The participants must come to the Cesantes beach (Redondela) at 11.15 am for the distribution of the equipment and the explanation of the activity, as well as an introduction to kayak sailing.
4.- Schedule: the activity will begin at 11.30 pm and it will last for around 2 hours.
5.- Additional information: -Participants must bring flip-flops, a swimming suit and a towel. Everything else (Lycra, neoprene, life jacket, googles and fins) will be provided by the organization.
-The activity includes a hike on the San Simón island and snorkeling on the surrounding area.
-The activity will consist of a kayak trip across the San Simón bay, in which there will be several stops, such as the Julio Verne statue and Nautilus legend. We will visit the island’s facilities on a guided tour through its different buildings. We will also take a historical tour through the island’s cultural sites, where we will learn some interesting facts about its importance to the city of Vigo and its strategic position in the battles of Rande. Finally, we will make a small stop at the islets of San Bartolomé and San Norberto, where we will learn about the real events of the Rande Shipwrecks.

3.- Transportation: Registration will include transport to the meeting point as long as there’s enough participants from Pontevedra and Vigo to fill a microbus. This microbus will depart at approximately 9.00 am from Nakasa Interiorismo at the Praza de Galicia in Pontevedra and at 9.30 am from Areal, nº52 in Vigo. The return trip will be at approximately 2.30 pm. For potential departures from the Ourense campus, please reach out to the Wellbeing, Health and Sport Department of the respective campus.

5.- Additional information:
-The participants must bring a swimming suit, a towel, shoes they don’t mind getting wet and shower supplies. The rest of the equipment (approved helmet and vest, neoprene suit and booties of 5 mm) will be provided by the company.
-Knowing how to swim is mandatory.
-Once the equipment is distributed, the group will board the company’s bus for a 9 km drive to the boarding spot. There, they’ll receive instructions for donning the equipment, rowing and, most importantly, safety. Then, the rafting will begin, which will last for around 1.30 h. Once the route is over, the group will go to the company’s quarters to have a warm shower and finish the activity.

The activity will have the same price for the university community and their children and grandchildren, and to the members of the Club Peña Trevinca (25€/monthly for the children and teens group and 33€/monthly to the other groups).

4. Material necesario: roupa deportiva cómoda e pés de gato. Os primeiros dias podes probar con zapatillas deportivas normais e xa despois, se decides continuar vindo regularmente, adquirir os teus propios pés de gato e tamén un bote de resina líquida.
1. Descrición: o jiu jitsu é un arte marcial e sistema de defensa persoal que se centra principalmente na loita corpo a corpo no chan e na utilización de luxacións, estrangulamentos, inmovilizacións e derribos.

3. Reserva de prazas: debe realizar nesta aplicación unha reserva de praza para cada sesión. Pode facelo cunha antelación máxima de 3 días e ata o momento no que comece a clase. No caso de que finalmente non poida asistir, lembra anular a súa reserva de sesión.

Material necesario: gi (uniforme específico de jiu jitsu) ou ben roupa deportiva que permita unha boa manipulación nas maniobras e que evite as queimaduras pola rozadura da pel directamente no tatami. Neste caso estaráimos falando de licra ou suadoiro moi fino na parte de arriba e unhas mallas ou pantalón de chandal que non abulten demasiado na parte de abaixo.
This is an introduction to rugby activity for university community members.
Promoting rugby among the university community. Recruiting players for the rugby teams of each city campus. Initially, this activity will have no physical contact in order to catch the attention of the university students without the prejudices about the sport. This activity is an introduction to a more ambitious project of rugby sevens leagues between education centers. Rugby sevens is another modality of rugby that is also an Olympic sport.
This activity will cover the basics of rugby:

- Para esta actividade as persoas participantes deberán levar bañador, chanclas, toalla e útiles de ducha. O resto do equipo facilitarao a empresa colaboradora.
- Para a realización desta actividade é obrigatorio saber nadar e ser maior de 12 anos.
- Esta actividade está desaconsellada para mulleres embarazadas, persoas con otite, sinusite ou perforación de tímpano, persoas con epilepsia, con episodios repetidos de perda de coñecemento, de neumotórax espontáneo ou quistes pulmonares. No caso de hipertensión e diabetes débese consultar co persoal técnico responsable da actividade.

O obxectivo desta actividade é acadar melloras no seu rango funcional de movemento. Unha mobilidade ampla garante unha maior propiocepción, dominio do corpo e axuda ao traballo de forza no desenvolvemento paralelo da prevención de lesións.

Realizaremos unha ruta de montaña pola Portela do Homem. Durante o percorrido visitaremos a Corgada Fecha, a Cabañiña do Curro, achegarémonos á fronteira con Portugal e regresaremos polos Miliarios ata finalizar novamente no Balneario de Lobios.
5.- Inscricións: as inscricións estarán abertas de xeito exclusivo para a comunidade universitaria, comunidade alumni e familia Uvigo ata o luns anterior a cada ruta. No caso de quedar prazas libres, o martes, mércores e xoves anteriores a cada ruta permitirase a inscrición de calquera persoa interesada.
6.- Outra información xeral de interese:
- Idade mínima: 16 anos
- Cada ruta realizada recoñecerase con 7,5 h ECTS por día de duración.
- Haberá autobuses para trasladar as persoas participantes ao inicio de cada ruta dende os campus de Ourense (Cafetería Perla), Pontevedra (Praza de Galicia, nº 5) e Vigo (rúa do Areal, nº52).
- Equipo aconsellable para todas as rutas: mochila pequena con chuvasqueiro, paraugas, apósitos para as bochas, muda completa (outros calcetíns), navalla, cantimplora ou similar e, a partir do mes de marzo, viseira ou gorra. Para todas as rutas as persoas participantes levarán a súa comida (bocadillos, froita, froitos secos, bebidas, etc.).

Partiremos da zona de Arnuide, ascenderemos ata As Corcerizas e o alto de San Mamede pararegresar posteriormente ao punto de inicio. Trátase dunha ruta de dificultade alta.

A Ponte do Porto, Porto de Cereixo, A Barreira, Faro e Praia do Lago, Merexo, Praia de Area Maior, Chorente, Muxía.

4.- Specific notes on the route:
This route between Muxía and Cabo Touriñán belongs to the Way of the Lighthouses of the Costa da Morte, specifically to Stage 6 between Camariñas and Muxía. A route that runs for 200 km between Malpica and Fisterra, along this abrupt, maximum, beautiful and wild coast. Cliffs, beaches, lighthouses, estuaries? All feeling the breath of the sea and the strength of the wind. The route includes interpretative stops with specialised staff.
5.- Registration:
Registration will be open exclusively for the university community, Uvigo family and Alumni Community until the Monday before each route. In the event that there are still places available, on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday prior to each route, any interested person will be allowed to register. People under 16 years of age who wish to participate in this activity must always be accompanied by a responsible adult and must contact the University Extension Service or the Community Services Areas to formalise their registration.
6.- Other general information of interest:
- Each route taken will be recognised with 7,5 h ECTS per day of duration.
- There will be buses to transfer participants to the start of each route from the campuses of Ourense (Cafetería Perla), Pontevedra (Praza de Galicia, nº 5) and Vigo (rúa do Areal, nº52).
- Advisable equipment for all routes: small backpack with raincoat, parapak, bandages for blisters, complete change of clothes (other socks), pocket knife, water bottle or similar and, from March onwards, visor or cap. Pecharemos o cuadrimestre cunha ruta circular partindo de Porto do Son, dirixíndonos cara ao Castro de Baroña e regresando novamente a Porto do Son.
The Campus of Vigo has a cardio-fitness room inside the university pavilion.; it is fully equipped to practice different fitness activities.
Rules of use
- You can access with occasional entries, memberships or usage agreement sigend with the University.
- You must be at least 16 years old to be able to access the instalations freely.
- If this capacity of the facility is exceeded, access will be denied to new users until there are new places available.
- You can not access with street footwear, slippers, sandals, non-sports clothing, bags or bagpacks.
- You must use a towel inside the room to ensure a good hygiene.
- Continued use of cardiovascular equipment (stepper, elliptical bike, indoor rower, treadmills...) must last 30 minutes maximum.
- All users must return the matirial they used for their training to its original place. In any case, the alteration of the conditions of use of the different equipment (music equipment, bikes, mats, benches...) must be authorized by those in charge of the room.
- For security purposes, it is not allowed to overburden the machines with any additional weight.
- There will be general training routines available for anyone interested and, if you need something more specific, do not hesitate to talk to those in charge.

Tennis school for beginners and advanced players. No previous knowledge is necessary. Each student must bring their own racquet.
Priority will be given to people who belong to the university community and the Alumni Uvigo community. If there are still places available at the end of the registration period, they will be open to other interested persons.
4. Additional information
- The hours actually completed will be recognised as ECTS hours up to a maximum of 60 hours per academic year. These hours are incompatible with those obtained by belonging to the federated team.
- Once the activity is over, and under prior request of the student, the Wellbeing, Health and Sports Department will issue a certificate of attendance. The person concerned will have to hand in this certificate at the secretariat of their study center to obtain the validation of the credits in their academic record.
